I adore all periods though, ancient Germanic tribes are extremely interesting, their culture and practices are enchanting, but Arminius stands out as a particular person of interest. Hohenstaufen and Barbarossa are also perfect in all regards, their lives just suck you into imagination of what it was like to live at that time. I need to go find a segment from a book that I have saved but sadly I need to comb through thousands of unsorted images to find it.
