Male vtubers are also, on average, the most ungrateful group of people for their fans. Will throw them under the bench at a moment's notice and always try to pivot to a majority male fanbase despite the male vtuber crowd despising them so vehemently. It drives them fucking crazy to have to pretend to be palatable to the opposite sex for even a moment.
Vtubing is probably the most misogynistic semi-mainstream subculture in existence, where men cause most of the problems but women get all the flack.
