They need to submit every single song they're going to sing in a karaoke stream at least 48 hours before it happens, and all of it needs to be approved ahead of the stream--even if it's an unarchived karaoke. This even includes Hololive songs, they have to submit those too. I think that extends to songs that they themselves are part of, but I might be misremembering on that.
There's no ability to just sing what they want during a karaoke stream anymore, it's even more restrictive now. Risu's got good reason for doing acapella at this point, doesn't need to go through the approval process so she can follow her feelings in the moment
