Gen2, actually this little series is pretty useful for testing these models I've been mixing and seeing how they do on upscale and for testing character LoRA style bleed. Finding myself not needing to knock down the LoRA weights on upscaling compared to AutismDPO.
Might want to throw some more varied backgrounds even if they don't make sense to test.

>>81759192To be honest, there probably isn't a huge difference between mine and most of the others. I've maybe downloaded 20 pony models to try mixing up something since going through the list in civitai there really isn't a huge variety of styles on the base model. I think most styles have to come from artist mixing not model mixing. But I was mainly trying to get better backgrounds while also trying to not lose the anime style on the faces.
And of course model mixing is it's own reward to make something to call your own rather than pick something off the shelf. Though I can't say I spend a ton of time on this, I've spent much more time mixing 1.5 model last year than on this, XL models are generally already really good and I'm only adding the tiniest of tweaks.
>>81763496Yeah the PVC model was me just me trying to reduce the shine on skin. You know how it goes, made a few grids with other models, saw that PVC gave an interesting result, so tried mixing it with others. Keep going down the line of models you have to see what comes out. Then compare it to you old one and it improves on aspect but loses out on anther and there is a back forth and might never go anywhere.
Though I just changed my model again I still didn't like how the faces look on upscale and I think it's the 3x3x3 so threw in the Vivid_50_PVC onto another mix I did last week. For me as long as I got better backgrounds than the base PonyDPO that I've been using for months I'm cool.
