There is one aspect of indie seethe towards Hololive that I can kinda understand. You can debut with a certain theme and design and stream for years owning that, but the minute Cover debuts a holo with the same theme, it's over for you. Like, Aqua is THE maid vtuber, Marine is THE pirate vtuber, Pekora is THE rabbit vtuber, Fubuki is THE fox vtuber, Gura is THE shark vtuber, etc.
