If anything, my questioning of those signals has been more of a problem, as I've long been unwilling to accept my ability to just recognize threats to my internal stability at first sight. And that unwillingness has always been proven to be the wrong course of action. The first impressions I make have always been correct.

Everyone, every single person on Earth, betrays their true nature by these small mannerisms and vocal inflections. You can see the truth of one's character in the way they carry themselves, the way they portray themselves, the way they talk, the way they interact and the way they express themselves to the external world. You may not be capable of seeing it, but it's there, all the same. Neural networks at this point are capable of identifying these character aspects from a single picture of your face. Humans can do it just fine, if they're aligned to it.
