However, now think about the "artificiality of your own mind". Your mind is a neural network whose inputs are chemical and sensory data, trained by your past experiences. It's the same shit, just has more nodes and a bigger dataset because of how long you've lived.
There is no qualitative difference between the human mind and AIs, only consciousness separates us. And I bet these a sufficiently complex AI will eventually develop it, too.
