Pretty sure they were running some kind of for-profit charity that they used as a cash pool to invest in a fuck ton of ETFs so they barely needed to work. They used the company as some kind of charter school to get hand selected friends for their autistic kids, one of which was me. Whole thing is bunk now AFAIK but it was great fun while it lasted.
