I don't remember exactly what year it was, but it was probably closer to the beginnings of Hololive, so there was less fanart and artwork in general for it to go off of. At least, that's how it was explained to me. Its the same reason why AI scenes of older TV shows like X-Files are harder to gen unless you include a TON of specific keywords.
Also, I just now tried making Lia again and it worked! Yippee!
