Had a dream where myself and a bunch of other people all around the world had been "isekai'd" into early medieval Scandinavia. The locals had accepted us, but before we'd had a chance to properly settle down, a Russian raiding party showed up and carried off small amounts of property and Suisei. As nothing much had been lost, people mostly just shrugged their shoulders as nobody else cared about the lone Japanese who could speak neither English nor any of the local languages. So I had announced that I will get her back all by myself if need be.
The dream consisted mostly of me inventorying the possessions that got isekai'd with me (a fencing jacket, an old mp3 player with full battery, some books) or I had acquired from the locals (at least a sword, probably a shield) and trying to figure out what I could use and what I should store to wait for my return. As I was doing this, one by one others arrived to offer their help. Half of these were isekai'd goody-two shoes who probably hadn't ever thrown a punch in their lives, but were moved by the principle of it all, and struck me as undependable because they didn't know what they were getting into. The other half were locals showing up with armour and weapons, but all of them struck me as psychopaths even by local standards more interested in loot and rape than finding a missing woman and thus undependable because I was afraid they'd just abandon the mission or backstab me if going got tough. Although I was pulling my stuff from a car trunk and hiding it underneath an overturned longboat, the plan apparently was to walk all the way to Novgorod's slave markets and hope she wasn't sold too soon and too far. Sadly woke up before we started our journey to save Suisei.
