>>54559542I watch Fauna and Mumei (my homie's oshi) from time to time, but no one else other than that. I never felt like interactions between Holochuubas were authentic or genuine- not to say that they aren't, but it just doesn't feel the same as Niji interactions. I'll admit that this causes certain Niji collabs to drift from entertaining to feeling like you're just lurking in a Discord voice channel, but it's not often, and it still feels comfy like you're just chillin' and not taking everything too seriously.
It wasn't until I got a taste of how the Holo fanbase /here/ and other platforms and man... that shit was the nail in the coffin- the doxxing, the shitting on whatever Niji is live at the time, the constant raids and cataloging, wishing death on certain livers, being hypocrites that shame Nijis for the same shit that goes on with Holos
(being unseiso, lying about personal shit for good reason, cancelations of events, shitting on underwhelming events and new waves, having significant others {especially this}, and taking breaks) . Then you go into their threads and they act like they're the purest sweethearts. Hololive also lacks Pomu and my superkamiguruoshi in picrel.
tl:dr- I like hololive quite a bit. They have some good attributes. I watch 2 of their chuubas fairly regularly, but the fanbase is a giant tumor pastry with AIDS filling and shit icing on top.
