It just got an updated "new player experience" start with a semi-roguelike gamemode that's pretty fun, so if you never got very far, then that could be fun. That said, you can 100% f2p your way to the top if you're ready to grind old content for literal months on end just to unlock access to the new. If that doesn't sound fun to you (it doesn't to me, to be honest) then it might not be worth it long-term.
