>>81119800This hit me surprisingly hard, even got a couple of tears out of me for the first time in like a decade. I think it might be because she seemed to be quite young and because of how open she was about things. My relatives that have died were all old and in most cases it was clear that it was time to go so it didn't feel that bad. On the other hand with (e-)celebs and what have you there is typically just a sudden announcement that they've died and that's it, so it lacks a certain personal element to it since I don't know what they were going through. The fact that this girl posted about her situation and was still updating people on it about a week ago makes it easier to understand what she was going through I suppose.
There's also the music she's published and her social media posts that act as a sort of time capsule. Pic related is a house she built in some MMO over the course of half a decade and shared on plebbit two months ago, when she had already accepted her death. She was still creating stuff and enjoying games so recently and now she's never going to do it again. It's quite surreal and really makes you hope for some sort of an afterlife or reincarnation, especially given she also had some unfulfilled dreams. Sad.
