There is one thing that does not seem to be a coincidence tho: Pekora seems to have come back to a MUCH stronger vtuber field in Japan than she left before taking a break, and she MASSIVELY benefited from both Salome tourists and WWE tourists.
It is impossible to really measure it but I believe the was a "Salome -> Pekora" pipeline that buffed Pekora with some 10k new members of the audience that were not part of the JP vtuber audience before her break.
