I guess it's easy to get caught up in the fantasy that this is some beautiful garden full of young women who are never burdened by finances and health problems and the need to make smart career moves. When they "graduate," it's a bit of a reality check and we're reminded of the mundanity of our own lives and responsibilities. Nothing I don't have to deal with all day, everyday already, but damn can it be sobering.
