You would think that integrated advertisements would be best, what with how much people move to integrate these days. Sponsored streams showcasing products, or sponsoring someone to have your product in their content, or just having them do an ad read for you.
But in this situation, simply putting someone's visage into an advertisement, then having them acknowledge it in quite possibly the most obviously "this was paid for" way possible seems to be generating a FAR more successful marketing campaign for these people.
Is that just because the product is so much bigger than the usual integrated sponsors, like Bookwalker? But then, Xbox sponsored some of the girls and that didn't do it, either, and Xbox is probably bigger than Taco Bell.
Is the traditional advertising method more effective at word of mouth engagement than integrated advertisements?
