>barring terminationAnd that is exactly why I expect Ryoma and Twisty (and also Klara) to get culled at the merger, even if they don't want to leave just yet. Denauth have the lowest numbers in the branch, whether you look at subscribers or CCV or superchats; and whether you look at them as a wave, or as individuals, or just the males (R), or just the females (T/K). Once the merger happens, no MBA with any concept of self-importance would let them stay in the company; WHY those three have such low numbers will be irrelevant once the hammer drops.
Kotoka was on a 6 month "hiatus" from streaming on her own channel, and since her return has had a grand total of six (6) streams - her return stream, a collab, a members only stream, an outfit reveal in September, a second zatsu stream in October, and a gaming stream earlier this month. If she had any inclination to stay any longer than necessary, she'd be doing more than the bare minimum, and more than one stream per month.
As for the others, whether they stay or leave at the merger depends less on whether they themselves want to stay or leave, and more on whether the company wants them to stay or leave. "Unlikely to leave of their own free will" does not necessarily mean "unlikely to leave at all" (also they'd be making more money as indies since they wouldn't have to give half their superchat money and 98% of their merch money to the company)
My reasoning as to why I think that lot are likely to get culled is simple: the other half of the branch is likely to NOT get culled, and here's why I think so:
>Lux-Noc bar Fulgur: as I said, damn-hell-ass kings (note: Uki may already be in the queue; but if he leaves it will very likely be of his own free will)>Aster: sex pest, general pest, and has been harassing Scarle (and potentially also Aia and Maria). If she gets fired for what management deems to be "misconduct" instead of getting downsized at the merger, Aster is likely to volunteer to do a black screen against her without needing to be voluntold to do it>YQW: bootlicker, went out of his way to make that play back in October, was part of that "we support the artists!" astroturfing the branch did a while back despite being a plagiarist>Claude: bootlicker, sacrificed his reputation in a sincere and "valiant" but comically ineffective attempt to protect the company's reputation>Elira, Enna, Millie: queen bee clique, name-dropped in the black stream documents (note: Millie may already be in the queue; but if she leaves it will very likely be of her own free will)>Petra: like Kunai, on permanent hiatus pending graduation, and only waiting on paperwork expiration before she can leave. Unlike Kunai, the paperwork in question is not her contract, but her visa; she will stay in the company for as long as she needs to for visa purposes, even if it means extending her contract>Aia: the second-highest-earning currently active female in the branch, behind only Scarle; and also the second highest overall among active members over the past 6 months. The company will likely keep her, unless she reported Aster's harassment and they fire her for it>Meloco: honorary Niji JP, much more so than Kotoka, and has been almost since debut. Actually active, rather than just technically active. Most of her viewers won't even notice the merger>>90370721The things you're thinking of are the Nijifes meet and greet, and the Nijifes EN concert. Those three plus Uki are the only four not scheduled for either event.
They may be in the queue, and may or may not graduate before the merger; Millie and Uki almost certainly will not be forced to leave because of the merger (see above)
