As a filthy EOP, holos initially appealed to me more than nijis simply because of superior character design and fitting voices. In this aspect nijis are just really fucking boring and generic. Also, holos acknowledge EOP audience and actively engage with overseas fans. And yeah, holos are really fun to watch and there's not a fucking million of them, so it's possible to know them all and keep tabs on their interactions.
