Millie's field needs plowed
It hasn't been plowed in years
If her field isn't plowed soon,
It might leave her in tears
Her field has been so dry
Her field has been so barren
She thinks back to the last time it was plowed:
Not since Farmer Lauren
Last week, Farmer Yu stopped by
He tried so hard to plow it
But his tractor wasn't strong enough
Millie's field just wouldn't allow it
Millie tried to plow her own field,
But it was just no use
She couldn't plow it deep enough
To get that soil loose
Poor Millie has no hope
Her field will never get plowed
She wishes she would have done it
That day Farmer Crow came 'round
Her friend Enna tells her
"It's okay, it's really not that bad.
But if you really need it done,
Maybe ask my dad."
Millie shakes her head and sighs
Asked Enna's dad last night
He said he couldn't do it
He said it wasn't just right.
Millie wakes awake at night
She dreams of her field getting plowed
Sometime she gets so frustrated
That she starts to scream out loud
"Someone plow my field", she pleads
"Anyone at all"
"My field needs plowed now!", she screams
"Before the end of fall"
Along comes Farmer Fulgur
Who lives right down the street
He says he'll plow Millie's Field
"It will be my treat"
Millie is so happy
She can't believe her ears
Her field is finally getting plowed
For the first time in years!
"Thank you Farmer Fulgur", she says
"You really are so kind"
"It's no problem, Millie
I really do not mind"
He plows her field so good
It nearly takes all night
His tractor gets deep in that dirt
And plows with all its might
Millie's field looks great
It's ready to be seeded
Who would have thought that just one good plow
Is all he field had needed?
