Strangely the illness she caught was running rampant in Japan at the time, so you can speculate whoever gave it to her is someone who was in Japn then traveled to meet her in Paris, and probably infected her near the middle of her trip (incubation for strep throat is 2-5 days).
So this was someone she knew who flew over from Japan. Must have been Luca, Vanta, or an unknown 3rd party. And they didn't fuck until the 2nd week of the Paris trip
