It's happened in the past, there was a pretty noticeable period in Nijisanji where shipping wasn't rare at all, but that time come and gone already.
It's unlikely to happen again, since the direction of Niji's main branch has gone a bit more corporate - shifting away from casual collabs to more organised ones, and shipping in the EN branch isn't going to work because the viewers are too dumb to keep their autism to themselves. This is mostly referring to Nijisanji though, things might be different for indie livers.
