Essentially there is a big spreadsheet of every video game they have perms for and which consoles they can play it on.
But the spreadsheet isn't updated regularly and some perms are time sensitive, like Pokemon perms. So you get situations like Axel streaming Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for over 6 hours till his manager woke up and took down the stream.
And some games on the perm list are by request only, meaning that the talent has to ask managment to ask the game publisher every time they want to stream, like Dark Souls or Halo, or the Lego games. And that's how we got situations like Magni making Lego themed assets for him and Altare only for them to only use them in one stream, because TT or WB wouldn't let them stream more the game more then once.
Oh and DLC also as sperate perms, so hypothetically a talent could have perms to play a DLC expansion for a game, but not the base game on a console they own.
