>>36107133Like I said this is just the influence of the branch culture at this point where they feel a compulsion to be "entertaining" all the time in collabs even if it harms the flow of the stream and dumbs down the humor.
The more introverted members like Rosemi struggled for months to adapt to this. I still remember that Overwatch collab where Rosemi didn't get to talk at all because Vox was just yelling over her and making monkey noises the whole time. Since then she's adapted to being louder to make herself heard, but it still constantly happens to the various introverted members where they have to act retarded to get any attention in a group. We have no idea what happened behind the scenes to make them act like this but Millie/Enna had the same shit where they're just 10x more edgy and annoying when in a group.
Even Pomu has commented on this, saying when she's in collabs she's way more "on" in an attempt to be entertaining even though it doesn't represent her personality at all and leaves her feeling exhausted and worried if she's annoying people.
Now you combine that with how often fans will beg for collabs from members who otherwise don't care for them and it's easy to see how the livers feel pressured to change their entire personality for the sake of appeasing tourists. People used to shit on Yugo a lot for how often he yelled and acted obnoxious in groups, but besides the language behavior his behavior back then is pretty much identical to how most of the branch acts now. It's not a coincidence that the older members who have enough experience to know what the branch was like before things went to shit are more liked. They're the only ones who try to balance their content and focus on their own channel instead of acting like NijiEN is some streamer house.
