>>58541009Yeah the other side of it is it all depends on how you play. I play similarly and thus don't have that problem with encounters. Going loud will make things tough and require you to rest all the time. BG1-2 has a lot of cheese plays that are even easier to pull off than BG3, like infinite skull trap stacking or going over 100% magic and physical resistance as a monk, or so many other cheesy things you can do. Up till today, Assassin-archetypes are the most powerful in BG1-2, where you can straight up kill most caster boss encounters with no problems and just run away without having to fight the mooks and the like.
>>58541201Exactly! My DM had an attempted summoning ritual by kobolds go wrong and tear a small dimensional space in the middle of a deathtrap dungeon kind of zone, a Lich's Fortress. Basically the kobolds were trying to make a deal with a devil but messed up the ritual and created a pocket dimension instead which became a kind of sanctuary in the fortress, but we had to kill aberrations that lived within that space that had basically consumed the kobolds.
