The more I read the average normie's take of the EP on Youtube, the more I realize that Mori may have intentionally written her songs to filter out her casual audience.
It's hard to understand unless you followed her from her past until now as you would be missing a lot of the context of what was written. I'm not saying that only those who have "muh secret knowledge" are able to understand it (even a large portion of normies can find out who she was with a couple google searches). I'm saying that those who follow her obsessively seem to be the main audience of this EP.
Those who do understand are treated with a rather exposed and transparent view into Mori's thoughts, her dilemmas, and her views on her current situation. In it, she refers to herself as a source of suffering for us. Why she thinks this I can't exactly pinpoint, but she feel guilty and it is clear that she wants to help us in some way (maybe she wants to help us remove her from our "rent-free" minds so that we may do other productive and inspiring things?). In my opinion, this why I think Mori keeps stressing that this EP was made as a gift with us in mind.
She claims that she created the EP with deadbeats in mind, but I think she mainly targeted those who she is an impediment to.
Dare I say she created the EP for us /vt/? Maybe I need to take my meds...
