>>41569828>>41569874I understand, it's closer to a watchalong except of short videos instead of long form.
I disagree that it could improve their motivation tho, even if they were allowed to do one react stream per week, what about the other 3 to 4 streams that week? They would be at the exact same place
React content works for Twitch because they stream six hours per day, six days per week so they can "pad" the time watching TikTok, sleeping, eating and "running the clock" around the 2 odd hours per day the spend actually gaming or soaking in a tub.
That obviously won't cut on Hololive, that's not how vtubing on Youtube goes at all.
The problem with Gura and Ame is different in my opinion: they don't really like to have a "daily" commitment.
Here is an interesting stats: in 2020
>Ame has 622 hours streamed in 242 streams>Gura has 380 hours streamed in 130 streams>Mio has 379 hours streamed in 238 streamsThe only reason people perceive Ame and Gura as demotivated and absent is because they don't have a constant pace of streams.
They show up, do a couple of weeks with 3x 6 hours streams, then disappear or reduce activity significantly.
Mio, OTOH, does short streams, has a regular scheduled show and for the most part keeps the same pace and the same slot.
Gura and Ame doing react content wouldn't help them IMO. They would have five hours (let's say) a week of this and then would have to put 2, 3 streams of regular content anyway.
