I found out about cosplay online and friends at school who went to cons, so after going to my first con and seeing all of the cosplayers, I got inspired to cosplay the following year! Then I got more into sewing and competitions when I realized you could put on skits on stage, so it's become something I regularly do with my friends.
None of us are professional performers but we like building sets, sewing, and telling stories, so it's become a regular way for us to see each other, especially when some of us live in different parts of the US.
