Hololive EN management fucked up with how spaced out the EN debuts have been, maybe trying to imitate hololive JP's recent debut schedule.
They forgot that Cover debuted gen 1 and 2 between May-September 2018 (4-5 months), and in 2019 they debuted 2 gamers, gen 3 and 4.
They should've debuted a couple of gens in rapid succession, with 4-5 months between each gen. EN2/Council should've debuted around January 2021 to complement Myth, EN3 around June-July 2021 and EN4 between October 2021-February 2022. This would've ensured good talents in the west would be hired by your company and there would be more variety of collabs and group collabs instead of the same pairings for over a year. It took them 1 year to be able to do a full EN among us collab because they lacked participants
By spacing out so much EN2 debut, they allowed western companies to copycat them with their own vtubing companies and steal potential talents in an already limited western talent pool. And if some of your talents are lazy and unmotivated, or her tummy hoorts, you just lost 10% of your manpower per talent that didn't stream (like Sana).
StarsEN should've debuted somewhere in 2021 to take advantage of the lack of male vtubers in the west while riding the hololive hypetrain in the west
