Back when I had a phone, I would use whatsapp to communicate because it didn't cost money to use.
I learned the hard way, that If you didn't use the phone for long enough (ie. use it to make calls or text people, which costs money, which I avoided doing like the plague) they'd freaking change your number/give your number to someone else's phone. I started getting texts in arabic from people I didn't know.
Imagine if I had 2FA'd everything and that happened. I'd be locked out of so much stuff that I use. I aint about to fuck around with that shit.
