>>70147306It's a dollar. If you have the disposable income to give away $5/month, you're likely willing to give away $6/month as well. Especially if you have the reassurance that half of it is going to a streamer you like. I get that the fear is that this is the start of endless price hikes, but past a certain point a twitch sub just isn't valuable enough to be worth it. The only tangible thing you get for a twitch sub is emotes you can use in twitch chat. If the price starts to rival a Netflix or Hulu sub then no one will going to buy it. So for now I don't think $6 subs is going to drive anyone off.
