People like Marine understandably have a skewed view of this and think getting an interview is basically a 75% chance of getting hired, because it pretty much is for them.
If this isn't you, then you don't have the luxury of quitting your job willy nilly and 'traveling' for 6 months and having a huge gap on your resume.
