Thinking about it in the same way as ruining immersion of genderless ageless abomination behind the screen doesn't sound healthy, but it's still a thing for many people who change their perception when an annoying, perverted and mentally unstable anonymous person joins voice chat and appears to be a shy girl with unique voice. Even Reine herself could do it if she started her talks about fanfiction and other topics in a text form first (she is not annoying, perverted or mentally unstable, but you got the idea).
Anyway, it's subjective from both sides and depends on imagination nuances level as much as on anonymity level of the VTuber. Reine keeps it on a level of anime character who never got a live action version yet, and fears of such "netflix adaptations" are applicable to her as well as to all holomembers with similar image.
