Then, people decide to jump into "baiting" him and into "agreeing with him" which only makes him post more, thinking of ignoring him? He keeps spamming, thinking of reporting him? He keeps spamming. It's until he gets tired of it, or to wait until a good faith poster does it. Which also reduces it because the good faith posters don't want to associated with neither. It's (sadly) one of the most common things that happens in threads with them.
