But really, I honestly believe this is partly a case of Sayu walked so Doki could run. Like, Zaion's manifesto turned all the normies against her, but it also gave us a hearty heads up as to what the fuck was going on. Without her going full menhera, the rrats wouldn't have popped up like they did, and it's thanks to those rrats that when Niji came for Doki everyone was already suspecting foul play, and reacted the way they did.
Not to mention arguably without Zaion's manifesto and the rrats it spawned, Niji might not have been so on edge and might not have gone full retard with shit like admitting to bullying someone to the point of suicide before anyone, even doki, had mentioned anything. That's the kinda shit corpos only do if they're already in full panic mode. So were it not for Sayu, Niji might have controlled the narrative better.
And on top of that, it was Finana's open backstabbing of Sayu that caused her to collapse in /vt/'s eyes, so without that prior incident, Vox's near identical accusations against Doki might have held more weight, but since we were already inoculated against this shit, we went for the neck.
Basically, its the social equivalent of an infection. First time it fucks you up. Second time your immune system is ready for it. Sayu's termination immunized us against Doki's.
