Look up the different sprites/versions of the novels and mod them to your preference, it makes a huge difference. Umineko's Pachinko sprites (the majority of the Steam previews use them) are disgusting, I prefer original but most prefer the PS3 version. Everything should be easy to find on the web and the /jp/ archive.
