The person HAS TO accept it and go for it, for it to work. The other person can not in any way force themselves into the other person's life to fix them, without that person first opening themselves up to it; without that person doing the work needed to become better.
Never mind the fact that if another person's entry into one's life fixes them, they never truly had any issues in themselves to begin with. They were never broken and there was never anything to fix. They were just lonely and unfulfilled.
