Just feels like nice characterization.It's really surprising Yuu isn't exactly the same way, Chiyo might have been a disposable Goddess to a lot of cults but Yuu's been neglected and borderline abused pushed around as a burden, probably has more to do with Pochi not being able to bring herself to write her boyhusband as mean or selfish though
It makes it more surprising she supposedly has a good relationship with her own parents, she seems incredibly familiar with realistic dysfunctional family dynamics
