After her creation, she began to build Babel, a tower that was actually the facility of a super weapon designed to destroy the Gods and finally free mankind from their servitude. However the Gods panicked at the speed of the weapon's creation and its mysterious creator, and had Omega send the Council down to Earth to stop it. Mumei was captured by the Council and had her memories wiped, forgetting her original purpose and instead led to believe that she was an agent of the Gods meant to keep an eye on humanity and track its advancements(which would tip them off to future attempts to rebel against them).
