As much as I want to laugh at the grim numbers with other anons and encourage the cull theory even further, people should really step back and reflect on a question.
What was really offered today for HoloEN?
You had CC doing music making (debuff content, even if I love learning about music composition in the making)
You had GG doing a part 3 of Crabs Souls, which part 3 of something will rarely do numbers. Even Biboo's first stream, Souls dork she is, after the botting averaged around 7.5k or so, second stream around 6.8k. It's a weak stream game all around.
Ina had a chat stream.
Nerissa had a chat stream.
RR had a supa stream.
Now check out this picture. 3 overlaps, what do we have here?
Kronii, playing a game she already beat, decided to get all of some item so she could get a 100% ending that changes a cutscene, gets it done in a hour. Nothing new or exciting.
Bae removes the Chained Together collab and gets new game plus material or whatever in Sekiro, a game she already beat.
FWMC should be kino with DKC2 finally returning again, but if you saw the last two streams of it, it takes them 2 hours to clear 3 levels. I feel that game is just developing a pattern for regular viewers so you know it'll take another year at this point for them to finish it. And I watched it, woo, same thing happened again, but glad to those who enjoy the twins.
And Mori doing Elden Ring...again.
I don't follow IRyS enough to know her floor, 6k seems low, but that aside, look at what's offered today on the HoloEN side. Outside my interest in music with CC, none of that really warrants me actively watching it because it's boring or in FWMC, expected yet still disappoint.
The low numbers are funny, but I never will expect hilariously shit numbers like the Lui reacting to Lui and music producers streams.
I will eat crow if something hype does come along and somehow that bombs when other things seem normal and join in on the "kek recliner" anons, but I think context is needed for people grimming the numbers today.
