>>59059080Well try to think about it from your own perspective. How would (You) interact with someone you haven't seen in a long time? Whatever your past relationship was can help dictate what might be too much prodding or not. Thinking about it myself, let's say I ran into a girl I chased after a lot in high school, like was super down bad was best friend zoned. I think it'd be fine to go about it like
>So how did college go for you? -> What kinda job did you land? -> Are you liking it? >Oh hi, how's your sex life? With the girl in question I'm thinking about, I could definitely get away with that one and probably make her snort laughing. I think you kinda get the gist of it. As for it being someone you haven't written before, let this initial interaction really mold that mindset for you and you can eventually hear the words coming out in her voice. I know you got this.

It can also be impactful when a villain or anti-hero character fails to convince their opposites to conform their ways, but they go along with it begrudgingly anyway. Civia doesn't have to agree or even like whatever Mel tells her, but if the hagpire presents her case in a way that makes her even entertain the idea of comradery, that can be a win.
