I loved the Donkey Kong Country games for the SNES, particularly the second one. The first one I played after the fact, the second one I played it a lot, and the third one I played also after the fact.
The first one was acclaimed by everybody, particularly the music. However, the first one I played was DKC2, which I think is better than DKC1 in every aspect; better graphics, better mechanics, better minigames, better secrets, better music, better collectibles, etc. Then I played DKC3 and was disappointed, it was kinda too bloated, too many things, and the music wasn't an upgrade compared to DKC2.
