>>93314843I would consider it pathetic. If someone gifts you a game out of the blue, that's one thing but if you ask for a game and someone buys it because of that asked them, you now must play that game. Otherwise, it might be seen as you pissing away their money to clutter up your own library.
Furthermore, there are plenty of free games out there if you need to farm content. Hell, you can go on VRchat and have almost endless content just playing in avatar rooms and chatting with randos. As someone else noted, you can pirate stuff as well. When it comes to that, don't ask, don't tell. Some people get really bitchy about piracy.
