Kawaii designs are solid but fairly boring relative to most other vtubers even if you ignore the clearly overdesigned ones (this is not necessarily a bad thing because a strong yet simple base design allows for a lot of freedom when it comes to outfits, alternate designs, etc but it's taking 3000 years for this to be relevant). But the gen 4 silhouettes (well, the 2 that got teased anyway) seem to suggest a departure from conservative design. Lolibaba cunny may finally be within reach.
