>>75622961 [bumping with dross]Ooh, you simply haven't watched many of her streams then. Her primary thing, particularly as of late, is to rant about DEI, ESG, Bridges, and other such anti-discrimination efforts that your average San Francisco anime convention volunteer would whole heartedly support (and indeed would think critical as the last bastion, when set against a supreme court they feel is hell bent on spreading bigotry). The director also linked her various anti-LGBT tweets she made as further evidence, and of course she's a huge advocate for Trump at every opportunity, who they believe is a traitorous pedophile serial rapists, destined to destroy the nation. When she's not playing games, she's more or less Rush Limbagh's morning show in Vtuber form. So, yeah, it's definitely a label she's earned and a corner she's written herself into.
I think banning her from the panel based on her political beliefs was absolutely atrocious, but I also find it very disingenuous when she tries to claim it's the result of a false narrative. It very much is not. It's about what she does, with no need for any fabrication.

She basically has a thousand tabs open with liberal horror stories for political rants at any given time.
Now, going after Pippa, on the other hand, yes, was unjustified, as she doesn't do politics as her primary content, and doesn't adopt all the more extreme political positions of her party, save maybe supporting Trump and following QAnon (the latter kind of tongue-in-cheek).
