>>100612426In my experience, resizing a video does little to lower the file size. Cropping it does a little bit more. The main determining factor of the filesize is the bitrate. Though anything past 20 seconds long is going to look crunchy as fuck under 4mb no matter what you do, but resizing longer videos can help them look better by making the crunchiness harder to see. The default bitrate I have in the command is 1000000 bytes (1mb), you can lower it or even raise it to get a better picture if you have leftover space. I routinely do 3-5mb for webms that are only a few seconds long
