Ina or Ina's family is pretty well off. Most of the rest are middle class but none of them have had any issues renting an apartment in Tokyo, they've all talked about this pretty casually. In particular Shion and Aqua have to be pretty ok finantially since Shion just asked her "why havent you rented an apartment in the most expensive part of the country yet" as if it was a no-brainer for the inaka girl to just move out immediately.
Also assuming most families below middle class would object to their daughter becoming a youtuber full time, if they needed help paying the water bill. Half the cast are hikkineets.
When they're poor, they're POOR, though. Some of the homostars were famously poor as shit before joining Yagoo's Emporium of Broken People, and Polka, Kiara and Mori streamed with trashcan laptops until Yagoo came around with the fat paychecks. Kiara's house has literal rats in the walls.
Younger JPs probably dont have this problem as much because they can just move back with their parents, but they dont really talk about their finantial situation.
