So I got to watch a little more of Fulgur's fatamoru run and I feel like I'm about to hit a point so I want to comment about something while the thoughts are still fresh. I just finished Morgana's story and it seems like we are finally heading into Michel and Michelle
First of all it's crazy to me that it happened on that order, but most importantly, what a great tale! It's such a great story encapsulating all the bullshit that happened on that era (witches, saints, martyrdom among other things) and how much sense it makes that all of it could be passed down as a witch casting down a curse on that town/city. It's almost a shame that such a good story has to be encapsulated within this game's supernatural setting (we are dealing with a bunch of ghosts), I feel like the message of everything going down due to people's hubris gets undermined a bit by actually being a curse that gets casted. I think this sort of tale would have been amazing as a big reveal of what is actually happening on a more realistic setting
On the other hand, Morgana is a good villain, you pity her but you can also see how her hatred started getting to people who (as far as I know) had little or nothing to do with the three fucks who deserved everything coming to them (I'm honestly shocked that the mother and the original village got nothing, but I might be talking too early). I'm curious about something that was said at the beginning of her tale tho, she calls herself a mischievous ghost with little power by the time she met Michel but that doesn't quite fit with how strongly her curse began and the way the house acts, I feel like I'm missing (or missed) something here, I'm definitely going to do some wikidiving after I'm done
