Hey Ruffians, Day 21 (3 weeks!) of fumbling my way through 日本語。
6 new cards as usual but i had like 0 cards to upkeep and I had free time today so I squeezed in 100 new extra cards for AnkiDrone.
This third week felt about as long as the first week but I think it's because I've had a lot going on this week so it didn't fly by like week 2 did.
even though this AnkiDrone deck is using kanji for words that almost never use them I've been getting pretty comfortable reading them and even when I bump into sentences that have kanji I've never seen I've usually been able to figure out what word it is, sometimes I can't but when I get the furigana I've been able to adapt to knowing that's the kanji for that word right away.
I'm still not sold on the idea of this deck using the kanji readings for all these words and then you will most likely never see them again in regular usage... but I guess it's fine?
I'll try to read some よつばと for immersion.
