The thing that would guarantee longevity could be the idol side of Hololive. But in order to achieve that there would have to be an entire new focus on the musical production side of things. Shit like AKB/Nogi have been going on forever with a cycle of different girls, but their appeal is massive in Japan. Something that Hololive lacks. Either way, I think Hololive will continue growing and going strong for the rest of the decade. If this chink virus shit finally starts to settle down then Cover needs to go all in with concerts and physical events to get even more people involved and informed on all the other things Hololive has to offer.
