hey /asp/ I will do my best to stream art regularly and I want advice from you, I don't like the networking aspect of vtubing because it feels like people are fake friends at times, I used to be friends with two indies who now a days are huge with about 1000 viewers and we were friendly/friends but the moment I stop drawing fanart for them they never spoke to me again.
I wanna make friends in the community actual friends, not people interested because I got some numbers or make some fanart here and there but seems everyone is so blinded by numbers or the need of streaming that is hard to connect with anyone and I feel I at times scare people away due to me being slightly perverted.
I just wanna befriend people I do this to connect with others and express myself and so far opening my chest as somewhat gotten me attention but few friends, I only have one guy I considerate my close friend in the community, and a lot of friendly people but they are to introverted to ever talk to me or reach out or maybe they just don't wanna be my friends even when I do my best in being friendly with them and reach out.
is the vtuber community just full of shut in people who don't wanna reach out? is it even worth trying to make friends in the community or it is just about the grin and making it someday?
I know people tell me not to engage in 4chan because lets be fair is full of horrible schizos but I also know here I will find honest answers, when people are given a mask they will tell you the truth they wouldn't if they didn't have it.
